Weekly & Monthly Trade Reporting
- Own and deliver accurate and timely weekly and monthly reporting outputs across Foods trade and promotional performance
- Pull, validate and consolidate reporting from multiple data sources within strict timelines
- Ensure consistency, accuracy and completeness of reporting templates and outputs before business distribution
- Support the preparation of executive-ready reporting packs used in weekly trade and leadership reviews
- Identify anomalies, inconsistencies and material performance shifts across categories and promotional activity
Promotional Reporting & Effectiveness Analysis
- Support analysis of promotional and trade performance across Foods categories
- Assist in evaluating promotional effectiveness, including sales uplift, volume growth, customer response and margin impact
- Consolidate and prepare data inputs required for promotional analysis and post-promotional reviews (PIRs)
- Support tracking of promotional trends, trade performance and category movements across the business
- Assist with ad hoc promotional and trade investigations where required
Data Preparation & Commercial Analysis Support
- Prepare and structure data for deeper commercial analysis, viability work and strategic trade reviews
- Support the team in identifying key trade signals, risks and opportunities emerging from weekly performance
- Contribute toward cross-category analysis and identification of emerging business trends
- Assist in translating reporting outputs into concise and actionable business insights
- Support continuous improvement in reporting quality, usability and analytical value
Reporting Optimisation & Automation
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, accuracy and efficiency
- Support automation and simplification initiatives within reporting and analytics workflows
- Assist in leveraging AI and analytical tools to improve reporting quality, insight generation and productivity
- Maintain strong governance and version control across reporting files and outputs
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage effectively with internal stakeholders across Commercial, Trade and Analytics teams
- Support category and trade teams with reporting-related queries and interpretation of outputs
- Build collaborative working relationships across cross-functional teams
- Communicate findings clearly and confidently in both written and verbal format
Minimum requirements
- Relevant commercial degree or diploma (BCom, BBusSci, B Econ or equivalent)
- 3–5 years’ experience in analytics, reporting or commercial support roles
- Retail/FMCG experience advantageous
- Strong commercial curiosity and interest in promotional performance and trade analytics
- Advanced Excel capability essential
- Experience with QlikView/QlikSense, Power BI or similar analytical tools advantageous
- Strong numerical and analytical capability
- High attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced reporting environment
- Self-starter with strong ownership mindset and ambition to grow
