Introduction
To provide full general administrative support to the Food Technologists with specific focus on compiling and maintaining the Departmental Quality, Safety and Sustainability systems.
Job description

  • Administration and reporting of customer complaints, including distribution of complaints and samples, investigation, feedback and trending. Liaise with suppliers for close out.
  • FPI (Specification system)
  • Reports for the Technical team (including Supplier KPI & Good Business Journey)
  • Preparation of food samples for quality control and tasting sessions. Assist with product tasting and compile feedback. (Able to handle, prepare non-halaal and non-kosher products).
  • Submission of samples, co-ordination of laboratory testing between the department and the laboratory, including shelf-life testing.
  • Compile, update and maintain the departmental Quality & Due Diligence system.
  • Updating and checking integrity of quality management data and reporting thereof.
  • General administration as may be required by the Technologists and Technical Manager.

Minimum requirements

  • ND Food Technology/ BSc Food Science/ BSc Biotechnology/BSc Analytical Chemistry
  • Strong Computer literacy, including MS Word; Excel and Power point is a pre-requisite
