Job description
· To assist in the management of the technical performance of finished products procured in the Group and to ensure the Product manufacturing processes are in line with best practices and meets the required
technical standards. To support the group fabric and garment technologists with daily administration and supplier communication (as agreed with line manager).
· Understand and drive WW values and processes that enable beautiful product that supports the WW difference.
· Collaborate with all stakeholders Technology, Planning , Design and buying to ensure alignment during the product development process and on time delivery
Minimum requirements
- A deep appreciation of the Woolworths Clothing and GM product and brand ethos
- Knowledge of product construction.
- Good understanding of product manufacturing processes
- Good understanding of raw material manufacturing.
- Strong analytical ability
- Highly numerate
- Strong administrative skills
- Customer orientation
- Computer literate
- Sound business and commercial awareness
- A commitment to high performance delivery
- Assertive and able to communicate and influence effectively
· Appetite to acquire new knowledge through self- motivated learning
Minimum Qualification
Relevant degree /diploma in Textile Technology /Clothing Management
Experience Required
Previous textile manufacturing and retail experience would be advantageous
