Introduction
To provide specialist admin support to the Merchandising Manager/Merchandising Specialist, ensuring that the Category Strategy is implemented and reflected in store. Through communication with the relevant Categories and Stores, the Administration Assistant will ensure timeous store updates, impactful selling Initiatives and clear Category and Foods Merchandising Principles.
Job description

·      Create Briefs which enable the category strategies within stores
·      Capturing and tracking of all relevant info for new lines and seasonal launch products      
·      Ensuring on-time launches through well-articulated implementation Briefs
·      Build productive relationships with key stakeholders to ensure optimal process flow
·      Participate in departmental meetings, range reviews & category assessments (where required)
·      Ensure that there are on time launches for Fresh windows.
·      Follow-up with relevant buyers responsible for launches and new initiatives
·      Track progress of new initiatives and projects
·      Collate queries; follow up and provide feedback to Team.
·      Work closely with key categories to deliver to the Category strategies
·      Ability to handle an ever-changing landscape and capacity for growth and to handle a growing Category

Minimum requirements

·      Relevant tertiary qualification – Grade 12 Minimum requirement
·      Previous administrative experience is essential
·      Tertiary qualification will be advantageous
·      Merchandising/Selling experience will be advantageous.
·      Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced excel skills.
·      Passion for the brand and for customers
·      Connecting people: building relationships with stakeholders and working well within a team
·      Personal effectiveness: the ability to work under pressure and to work independently
·      Excellent Planning and Organising skills
·      Good communication skills (verbal and written)
