SITE SERVICES MANAGER
Position summary
Introduction
Job description
• Develop, monitor and control one-year budget to deliver operating plan.
• Manage the delivery of site engineering operational service levels.
• Managing and monitoring of the Building management system.
• Monitor of all energy and water consumption on site.
• Ensure all electrical/mechanical equipment on site is serviceable, to enable the campus to operate efficiently.
• Ensuring the maintenance of temperature disciplines in cold chain, choc box, banana box and frozen box.
• BCP plan is in place for the site and regularly updated.
• Provision of security services and fire protection services.
• Management of the campus facilities.
• Adherence to the OHASA, SABS Code of Practices, ASIB, environmental legislation and any other legislation.
• Provision of gas and CO2 services.
• Manage the business unit against the standards set in the OEC in line with Best Operating Practice.
• Build, develop and entrench a high-performance culture within the Site Services team, by providing leadership,
• Manage the business unit EE targets, integrated performance management, talent management and succession
• Management of all service contracts through SLAs.
• Driving sustainable community-based activities.
• Manage corporate governance requirements including financial controls, business continuity plans and legal
• Demonstrate effective leadership aligned to the Woolworths Values to ensure delivery of the Supply Chain Strategy.
• Mechanical or Electrical engineering background
• Ability to conceptualize and implement synergies in different operations
• Project management
Finance and or Business:
• Ability to analyse and interpret financial and performance indicators at a detailed level.
• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the business measures and targets relating to own role
• Have an in depth understanding of relevant legislation
• Ability to quickly develop a knowledge and understanding of the suppliers’, customer and service provider business and demonstrates a passion for customer delivery
• Demonstrates an understanding of the impact of own role on service delivery to internal and external customers
• Have an understanding of relevant legislation
• Knowledge of Performance Management Systems
• Knowledge of Employee Relations procedures
• Able to work flexible hours in line with the business requirements
Minimum requirements
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Experience with quality assurance interventions
• Experience in contract management, including relevant legal requirements
• Project management
• Exposure to Six sigma or other relevant continuous improvement tools
