Gift Wrapping Assistant:
To offer high-quality gift wrapping services, ensuring a positive customer experience and an attractive, well-organized gift wrapping station.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert gift wrapping for customer purchases, offering different styles and materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing gift-wrapping area.
- Assist customers in choosing the appropriate wrapping and packaging options.
- Ensure all wrapped gifts meet company standards for presentation and quality.
- Provide a pleasant, helpful service and engage customers in a friendly, professional manner.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF is an advantage.
- Creativity and attention to detail in gift presentation.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, especially in retail, is beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Till Operator:
To process payments accurately according to till procedures, ensuring smooth transactions and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, balance, and sign off on float at the start of the shift.
- Handle customer transactions at the till, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the till station.
- Balance the till float at the end of each shift and report discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and company policies.
- Provide friendly, efficient service, greeting customers as they check out.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF would be advantageous.
- Basic numerical skills: counting, understanding figures, basic addition, and subtraction.
- Previous experience operating tills or handling payments in a retail environment is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage cash accurately.
Sales Assistant:
To support customers with product selection and provide exceptional service, while maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting products and offer information on promotions or special offers.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Restock products, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and products are neatly displayed.
- Help with product placement, ensuring the store follows visual merchandising standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Support the store team in achieving sales targets.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF would be advantageous.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic understanding of product features, benefits, and store offerings.
- Previous retail experience is an advantage.
