Imagine designing delightful products that exceed customer expectations, drive sales, and stay on top of international trends. Our South African designers interpret catwalk and street style, creating storyboards, and sketches, and reviewing fabric and colour options for each season. A relevant design diploma or degree is required to join our fashion team at Woolworths.
Job description
- Sourcing and identifying key products, fabrics and trims for the season
- Build seasonal colour palettes
- Research and develop key items and themes
- Trend analysis
- Visual aids, storyboards, sketches, and drawings of new designs,
- Design briefs
- Layout, displays etc.
Minimum requirements
- Final-year student or have completed your diploma/degree in Fashion Design/Clothing Management/Textile Design, Retail or Interior Design
- Need to be computer literate and proficient at an intermediate level in the Adobe Suite
- Ability to sketch
- Taste and Flair
