SITE SUPPORT MANAGER
Position summary
Introduction
Job description
- To cost effectively manage all site support services to ensure the effective running of the site.
- Key Responsibilities
- Execution of one-year operating plan that optimize site support.
- Control one year budget to deliver plan.
- Manager the delivery of site support operational service levels
- Management of all site support contracts through SLA’s
- Manage corporate governance requirements including financial controls, business continuity plans and legal compliance.
- Effectively use INVOCOM’s to ensure the involvement of all employees in improving operational excellence.
- Contribute to Continuity Planning and ensure adequate contingencies are in place.
- Build, develop and entrench a high-performance culture within the Supply Chain Site services team by providing leadership, guidance, support and hands-on coaching to the managers and staff.
- Manage the EE targets, integrated performance management, talent management, succession planning, reward and recognition and employee relations in line with business requirements.
- Manage and adhere to UPN policies and procedures and corporate governance principles.
- Conduct benchmarking and implement continuous improvement projects.
- Demonstrate effective leadership aligned to the Woolworths Values to ensure delivery of the Supply Chain Strategy.

Minimum requirements

What theoretical knowledge (e.g. degree / diploma) does the job require?
- Knowledge of Employee Relations procedures
- Matric and a Qualification in Health & Safey, Facilities Management or related Diploma/Degree
- Electrical and/or Mechanical N4 Certificate is essential
- Trade Test (Red Seal) Qualification/Millwright is essential
- Project Management
- 3-5 years’ working experience in quality assurance interventions, contract management, including relevant legal requirements
- 5 years’ working experience as a Millwright which includes the following:
- Planned maintenance
- Air Conditioning and Refrigeration experience
- Siemens PLC exposure and experience is advantageous
- Management Experience
