Introduction
To support the Finance business unit with the objective of producing effective, reliable and timely financial performance management information that is aligned with the company wide financial goals and balanced scorecard. To ensure that there is financial integrity across the financial planning and reporting systems for management and financial reporting and to provide input into financial design to ensure that the finance objectives, in particular, control objectives are achieved.
Job description

·       Ensuring the financial data integrity of the reporting environment across the various financial reporting systems

·       Have a keen eye and passion for process improvement and reconciliation as we build the future in OneStream

·       Ensuring the non-financial and statistical data integrity, received from multiple business sources

·       Managing the financial data integrity checking process and providing resolution

·       Supports the month-end reporting period close process through:

o    the segmental allocation reporting process (actuals, forecasts and budgets)

o    Branch profitability and key statistical reporting

·       Supports the annual and quarterly financial planning process through budget loads and financial system checks

·       Co-ordination and integration with ITS to facilitate financial systems requests, data integrity and issue resolution

·       Workshop complex processes with cross-functional stakeholders to understand and communicate finance's business requirement across multiple departments/divisions

·       Responsible for the design, development and testing of enterprise-wide financial information delivery

·       Ensuring that finance processes are incorporated into the design and documentation of cross-functional business processes, in particular:

o    Master Data requirements

o    Business Rules

o    Control requirements

o    Reporting requirements

·       Preparing adhoc business requirement specifications for new reporting standards and business initiatives, and project managing financial process system enhancements and resolution of system defects.

·        Developing effective and efficient testing plans, the co-ordination of testing and the evaluation of test results for all system upgrades, patches and system improvements.

·       Supports the build of complex business models to provide information to key stakeholders around forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, branch profitability, segmental analysis, balance scorecard and ad-hoc reporting by developing and maintaining cube views, dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders.

·       Continuously identify opportunities to improve and streamline finance system processes across the finance community

·       Analysing process changes, risks and impacts and facilitating communication thereof

·       Responsible for feedback on status reporting, issues and risks

·       Co-ordinate the development of training material and reviewing thereof and provide training

·       Pro-active involvement in resolving implementation issues and supporting the processes until systems have stabilized

Minimum requirements

·       Financial Accounting Diploma/Degree

·       3 years' experience within a systems accounting role that included exposure to Process Design

·       System implementation

·       EPM Systems- OneStream advantageous

·       Project management

·       Financial process design

·       Process change

·       System Audit

·       Personal effectiveness and time management to be able to deliver to strict deadlines

·       Excellent numerical, analytical and interpretive ability with a passion for business analytics to be:

·       Able to develop and produce clear financial management information

·       Able to develop and use financial reporting models

·       Excellent level of computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

·       Excellent level of financial system literacy with Oracle, Hyperion, with training to be provided for Onstream
