Introduction
To provide meaningful business information solutions to the NowNow Business that is aligned with the achievement of the strategic goals and scorecards. Work alongside functional experts to identify opportunities for business improvement through analysis and BI solutions. Evaluate, investigate, analyse, and resolve queries relating to information available to NowNow.
Job description
- Ensure NowNow Information needs are catered for by creating, and/or maintaining, dynamic reports and data visualizations that provide insights to the NowNow user community
- Engage with business and IT stakeholders to focus on continuous improvement of information in terms of relevance, quality, and speed of delivery
- Timeous and accurate production of Foods NowNow reports which includes analysis, trends, and interpretation
- Service ad-hoc requests for information within the required timeframe and specification, with a focus on translating ad-hoc solutions into effective, sustainable BI solutions that service a broader need
- Support the business with report and data queries and manage end-to-end resolution of issues by engaging with all stakeholders.
Minimum requirements
Technical Competence:
- Relevant qualification, i.e. B.Com or equivalent with mathematics, statistics as majors
- Reporting, data mining and data analysis experience
- Ability to combine and analyse data from various sources and produce visual and/or exception-based output that portrays answers to business questions
- Ability to draw insights from data analytics, summarize findings and make recommendations for improvement
- The ability to turn data and/or insights into effective BI solutions
- Ability to work with large volumes of data
- Data Visualization tools experience preferable (QlikSense/Qlikview)
- Advanced Excel (extensive experience using graphs, pivots, tables, advanced formulas etc. non-negotiable. Experience using PowerQuery, PowerPivot & VBA will be advantageous
- 3 or more years’ proven experience in the field of Business Intelligence, preferably in a quick service restaurant environment.
