• To manage and lead the Business Process work stream for the upcoming phase on the Demand Project • Responsible for facilitating and defining business requirements on the Demand Project and ensuring that these are translated into process impacts • Expected deliverables include: o A high-level process impact assessment across all affected Value Chain areas o Draft high-level processes which will be affected by a new systems implementation o Input into Business Case for Implementation of future solution
Job description

  • Develop the work stream approach, methodology and execution plan
  • Sign-off approach with key stakeholders
  • Lead the delivery of the work stream against execution plan
  • Manage the day-to-day work stream activities and resources and chair the work stream meetings
  • Facilitate Business requirements workshops
  • Ensure that all required workshops have been planned, scheduled, executed and outputs captured for use in process mapping exercise
  • Lead the definition and review of business processes
  • Understand current business processes and define high-level future business processes
  • Document high-level future business processes
  • Ensure all processes mapped to the correct level of detail
  • Compile impact assessment
  • Provide weekly progress and status updates
  • Provide input into organisational capabilities mapping exercise and skills matrix
  • Provide input into business case
  • Ensure alignment with change and technical work streams

  • Experience leading a team
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills at multiple stakeholder levels
  • Strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and partners
  • Strong leadership ability of direct and virtual teams
  • Proactive Risk and Issue Management skills
  • Ability to analyse the impact of change on the Business and Projects and put required actions in place
  • Retail Business acumen
  • Excellent multi-tasking ability
  • Attention to detail and working to deadlines essential
 
Minimum qualifications & experience
 
  • Relevant 3 year tertiary or NQF aligned qualification
  • Experience in business process and operational model design
  • Working knowledge of relevant methodology and tools e.g. Process modelling tools, project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile etc.)
  • Proven track record of delivery on business process-related projects
  • Proven experience in leading solution design workshops
  • Relevant retail industry experience an advantage
