To ensure timeous payment of landlord, managing agent and municipal accounts, avoid penalties and engaging with external parties regarding property expenses which are not aligned to the Lease Agreement. To ensure accurately aged reconciliations are prepared to achieve timeous follow up of overdue items and resolution thereof
Job description
- Update Oracle Properties system to produce payments for:- Rentals, Electricity, Municipal Utilities and Rates, etc.,
- Record balances and ageing as per landlord/managing agent statements,
- Resolve outstanding reconciling items and action outstanding entries,
- Perform age analysis by landlord/managing agent and drive clearing thereof,
- Check remittances and attach supporting documentation to send to landlords/managing agents,
- Processing of invoices and ensuring payment thereof,
- Escalate issues and communicate to the Accountant/Manager any non-adherence to procedures and controls,
- Administer, follow-up and resolve queries,
· Ensure that all documents are kept in line with WW policy and Legal requirements and properly filed and/or timeously sent for archiving,
· Identify and communicate any bottlenecks and late documentation,
· Deliver high performance consistently,

Minimum requirements
· Diploma in Accounting (12 month/intermediate stage or equivalent) advantageous,
· Sound understanding of Accounting Systems (Oracle would be advantageous)
· Computer literacy – Oracle, Excel, Word
· High problem solving ability,
· Strong numeric ability,
· 1 years reconciliation experience required,
Minimum of 1 year Properties experience advantageous
